TUESDAY'S TIPS..

I can't believe that it's the second week of January already! How are those resolutions/goals that you made for this new year coming along? Did you forget? Have you put plans in place to accomplish them? I know that I've had a difficult time applying myself too! It takes a lot of disciple and we have to really push ourselves to stick to our plans to achieve our goals, but you know all of this already.

Was working out, eating healthier and creating a healthier lifestyle on your list of resolutions/goals? I think I can help!

Here are my top picks for creating a healthy lifestyle and working out, without feeling like it's a burden.

1. Take classes! You can get a great workout and have fun while doing it if you take a class. My friend Caitlin and I go to Zumba once a week to change up our workout routine and to have fun too!

2. Make that grocery list & stick to it! I like making a list rather than just going down all the aisles. You pick up less junk food that way and you can budget better for your groceries. TIP: I like planning out my meals. In my planner or in my task app on my phone, I will write down what I want to eat each day of the week and then make my grocery list accordinly. Saves you time and money (SCORE!)
.

3. If you can't hit the gym, workout at home. I love what Bethenny Frankel always says, "Do What You Can." Yes we all want to go to the gym and have a great workout but soemtimes with life being so hectic, it's unrealistic. TIP: Pinterest is a great place to find workouts that don't require anything but your body!

4. Meal Prep! It sounds like a lot of work but it really isn't. On Sunday night (or whenever works for you), organize your meats, veggies and put your meals together. Marinate your protiens if you need to and cut your veggies and store them in tight seal zipolc containers. That way you only use what you need and you don't have prep work to do after a long day at the office.

5. Remember that this is a lifestyle change. You really do need to commit to it and you should commit based on the fact that it will make you healthier and happier! It's an overall better lifestyle, for a better you!

How do you stick to your fitness resolutions/goals? Do you meal prep? Have any tips? I'd love to hear them. Comment. Share.
