Long weekends!

Hello hello!

I just love long weekends! They are the best to recuperate and the best for spending time with people you love. Here's a quick glimpse into my long weekend!

Friday:
My long weekend got off to a rough start. I was sick on the Friday before the long weekend and had a rough day at work. The combination of those two should be enough but to make my already bad Friday worse, I had to deal with some really bad transit issues with our wonderful transit system in Toronto. By 5pm on Friday, I wanted to just crawl back into my bed and not wake up until it was Saturday. It did just that.

Saturday:
Saturday was a great day! I got so much sleep and R&R that I woke up like a whole new person. I cleaned my room. Reorganized my closet, helped my mom clean the house. Cleaning is my way of relaxing (odd I know). The afternoon was spent with some very chic ladies! My cousins and my bestfriend. We hit up Yorkdale for some retail therapy, yummy dinner and of course, girl talk! Saturday afternoon was followed by Saturday night consisting of some drinks and some good friends.

Sunday:
I think this Sunday had to be one of the most fun I've had in a while simply because I spent it with my family. We woke up early and headed over to my cousin's place at C.F. Borden (a Military base) for an early Family Day lunch. I loved spending time with the family that was there. Its nice to laugh, talk and catch up with family.

Monday:
My family day was spent with my adopted family. I took my favorite four year old to the ROM. It was a day filled with some firsts for her. Her first subway ride and her first visit to the ROM. I'm glad that I got to experience those things with her. I love her to bits. After hanging out with her all day and then hanging out with my adopted family for a bit, I headed downtown. I had a fun downtown date with a co-worker. Walking along Queen West (love that area for all the shopping) and then headed for an all-you-can-eat at Spring Rolls.

I had such a great and eventful weekend. I hope everyone else did too! What did you all do? Comment!

-Xo
