Inner Beauty

"Inner beauty is when someone falls for you no matter how you look on the outside. It is merely falling for ones inner beauty; It is not the image of the person but the person's character. Inner beauty is priceless."

"I just feel like people focus so much on their outer beauty and their inner beauty just turns ugly. They forget that your inner beauty is what will always stay with you and that it overpowers your looks. Its all you have in the end, I personally think, you have to live with yourself and the way you treat others at the end of the day right? That could either take you places or  drag you down."

"Only you can judge your level of beauty. Inner beauty is just a measure of how pure and focused one's inner self is. If you are in tune with who you really are , you will know what your intentions and thoughts are at all times. This knowledge will result in an outer appearance that everyone will be able to see." 

These quotes are remarkable.What is more remarkable is that all of these quotes and definitions  are from individuals who I am blessed to have in my life. I asked a few individuals to give me their definition and thoughts on inner beauty and this is what I received. Beautiful, don't you think?!

Inner beauty can be defined in so many ways, by all the different and unique individuals who walk the earth. I came up with this focus for my blog today almost two weeks ago. I know that with summer coming, a lot of pressure is usually put on individuals to look their best, dress their best, etc. But I think many people seem to forget what beauty is. Its on the inside.

I won't lie, I'm at the gym working out three to four times a week, I try to count calories and judge myself. Everyone does it. Its human nature. But I think we also have to remember what real beauty is and its not a size, or a style or fitting in. Beauty is being able to be comfortable in your skin and truly love who you are, inside and out.

This post is just a little reminder that inner beauty is ageless and it will never get old. Remember that and this post when you are fed up with trying to fit into the model society has created about beauty.

Embrace who you are, inside and out because like my friends all emphasized above, inner beauty is something that YOU have to live with, forever. Make sure you love it.
