FRIDAY FAB FIVE.

Its that time of year again. SPRING! Mother Nature doesn't seem to be cooperating with the season changing but that shouldn't stop you from embracing the new season. I love when seasons change because I like to embrace new change in my own life. Spring however, is also when I love to do some Spring cleaning. Spring cleaning for me has evolved beyond just reorganizing my closet and cleaning out my cupboards. I have now decided that part of embracing change and a new season, I will also clean up my "friends lists." I love starting a new season knowing that there, in all aspects of my life and it allows me to embrace change in a better mood.

Here are my FAB FIVE tips for Spring cleaning:

1. Closet control. This may sound like a lot of work but if you have an hour or two over the weekend, take out everything from your closet. Keep what you want/what fits and donate or giveaway what you may not wear/want or what doesn't fit anymore (saddest part of Spring cleaning!). That way YOU can control what goes in and out of your closet.

2. Thoroughly clean. This is the perfect time to do a good thorough clean. Take the time to swiffer, mop and vacuum under the beds, sofas, behind the toilet, etc.

3. Multitask. To make Spring cleaning fast and efficient, try to do more than one thing at a time. For example, if you are focused on dusting one room, put cleaning products in the toilet  shower, etc so when you are done dusting, you can just clean the bathroom right away without waiting.

4. Glass jars. They are great for storing bobby pins, elastic bands and other little nifty things. You are able to see what each jar contains and it can double as a decorative piece for your dresser, kitchen or bathroom.

5. Baskets! They are an inexpensive way to put folded clothes in your closet. Wire baskets are a great example. Again, they allow you to still see what clothes you have without creating clutter in your closet.

Those are my tips for Spring cleaning. What do you do for Spring cleaning? Comment. Share.
