FAB FIVE!




So now that I've got one less thing on my schedule (School is out. Forever! Woo!), I've got time to add the gym in more often. The gym and I have a love-hate relationship (I'm sure plenty of you do too). But summer is just around the corner so its super important for me, not only to get in shape but to be healthy (I work all summer with children. I have to be able to run after them!). These are some of my suggestions of things you should have/do to ensure you're working out properly and having fun while doing it!




Here are my FAB FIVE tips of the week for working out and getting into a healthy routine: 
1. Do what you can! (Thank you Bethenny Frankel). You can't do an hour of cardio? But you can do 30 minutes? Do the 30 minutes.
2. Be consistent. Can't go to the gym 3-4 days a week? Going for a walk everyday (doing  whatever you can) is good too. You don't need to go crazy at the gym. 
3. Don't like hitting the gym? (I don't like going to the gym all the time).Why not join a class (Zumba, dance, etc.) or do a yoga class? Something different that still gives you a good workout. 
4. A great soundtrack. Sounds silly I know but I cannot go to the gym without my ipod. Create a playlist labelled 'workout music' and put music on that playlist that makes you want to get in a good workout!
5. Make sure you're eating healthy. (Its so hard sometimes, I know). Remember, you can do all the working out you want but if you don't change your diet (and I don't mean starving or depriving yourself) too, you won't see tons of change.





I love working out and all these tips help me. Hope some,or all of these suggestions help you too!
