I love the idea of giving back to society and I love when companies give back to a charity that they truly believe in. So when I saw that one of my friend's and his partner were using their company to help promote awareness for Men's Health, I couldn't wait to interview them and support the cause too! This month I'm doing a special feature on Jeffery & Flavio's company called Ace of Spades Stag Co. I got the inside scoop on how the company came to be, what it's all about and how their MOvember fundraiser came to be. 

Here's my interview with Ace of Spades Stag Co. owners Jeffery & Flavio.

Hi Jeff and Flavio! Care to share a little bit about yourselves?

Our parents grew up friends and we had the privilege of also becoming great friends. 

We spend a lot of time together doing everything from having drinks to playing sports. 

Flavio gave me the honour of being the godfather to his first born son. 

Its not just about business for us we have a great friendship and that really shows when it comes to our work and the product we put together. 

How Ace of Spades Stag Co came to be?

Ace of Spades Stag Co. came together about three ago. Growing up with European decent we are used to attending stag parties (bachelor parties/gentleman's dinners). 

These are parties which are held for the groom to be. A reason to get all his male family and friends together for one last time before he gets married. 

After spending countless hours at these parties we both realized that we can do a much better job organizing and running these parties ourselves. 

We put pen to paper and started coming up with a business plan and what we wanted to focus on. Next thing we knew Ace Of Spades Stags Co. was up and running.

Did you have any idea what a hit the company would be?

To be honest when we first started it up we didn't think it would grow to be where we are today. 

There is still a lot of work to be done in terms of where we want to be, but we know that everything comes with time and we will get there one day. 

We have a decent social media following and our family and friends give us incredible support. 

Majority of our clients are word of mouth which shows that the service we provide is being appreciated. 

What’s the reasoning behind the annual fundraiser for MOvember?

The reason behind the annual MOvember fundraising is the help raise funds for mens health. 

We find that it's important to raise the awareness of men's health and for all men to go checked out regularly. 

Unfortunalty too many men have lost there lives because they never went to get them selves checked out.

Being that out company mostly caters to males it was the perfect fundraiser for us to host. 

Year one was a success and we are looking to make this year even better. 

Tell us a little bit about this year’s event and where those interested in attending can get tickets.

This years event will take place on Friday November 20th at Fontana Gardens in Vaughan. 

Its going to be called MOhibition 2015, it will focus on the Prohibition era. 

There will be wooden crates, bottles and jars of moon shine and the flappers and gangsters which partied in that time period.

What’s next for Ace of Spades Stag Co

Our short term goals are to make this years MOvember event a success and raise as much money possible to donate to Movember Canada. 

We want to continue to do this event annually and have it grow. 

As for the future we will continue to build our name and business and hopefully one day turn Ace Of Spades into a household name in the entertainment industry.
