This summer weather that Toronto is getting is definitely hot and humid! Its important to stay hydrated! I've got a super fun and delicious recipe that helps you stay cool.
Fruit pops! A big shout out to A.D. for this recipe. I've done it with kids (ages 3-5) so its definitely kid friendly, even for us big kids!
First dice up the fruit you are going to use. We used strawberries so we diced up the strawberries into small cubes. Then take dixie cups (for bigger popsicles) or the popsicle trays and put the diced fruit inside. Take the lemonade (Or any juice you choose) and pour it into the dixie cups. Once that's done, the next step is to put on the cling wrap over the cups. Poke the popsicle stick through the cling wrap into the cup. The final step is to freeze the popsicles. A couple of hours works perfectly but a whole day would be great too!
Once you've gotten them frozen and ready, enjoy! The real pieces of fruit and your choice or juice makes this treat not only delicious but also healthy!
